23% candidates left the MCom Entrance Exam in LU latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 24/07/2023: The entrance examination for PG courses of Lucknow University began on Sunday. Actually, LU has declared PG entrance exam in two phases. In the first phase, the examination for admission to M.Com Commerce and M.Com Applied Economics was held on Sunday. On the other hand, the examination for admission to other courses will be held from 5 August to 13 August.
In the first shift, 76.90 per cent candidates appeared for M.Com Commerce while 23.10 per cent candidates left the exam. In the second shift, 85 percent candidates appeared in the exam for admission to M.Com Applied Economics and 15 percent candidates left the exam. This time the university has released the data of present and absent candidates in percentage instead of numbers.

Exam will be held for many courses from 5 August to 13 August
Under the PG entrance examination of other subjects starting from 5 August, on 5 August, the entrance examination of Anthropology, Biotechnology, Public Health will be held in the first shift and AIH and Archaeology, Applied Zoology, CCJA, Public in the second shift. LLB in the first shift on 6 August, MBA-MTTM in the second shift, English, Molecular and Human Genetics, Mathematics, Sanskrit in the first shift on 7 August, Forensic Science, MPEd and Political Science in the second shift, Defense Studies, Economics in the first shift on 8 August, Chemistry, Medieval and Modern Indian History in the second shift. On 9 August, LLM, Hospital Administration, Sociology, B.P.Ed, Hindi, Geography, Physics in the first shift on 10 August, Psychology in the second shift, Mlibs ISC exam.
BJMAC, B.Sc Agriculture merit released
Lucknow University has started releasing the merit of Undergraduate Entrance Exam. On Sunday, the merit list of BJMC, B.Sc Agriculture, B.El.Ed courses has been released. Applicants can check the merit list on the official website of lucknow university. Selected candidates will have to do choice filling from 25th July to 27th July.
