15 suspicious numbers found in mobile in Odisha Paper leak case latest news update 2023

Latest Updated 30/07/2023: In the Odisha SSC paper leak case, the police team has found 15 suspicious numbers from Vishal's mobile. Nine of these mobile numbers are from Patna. All the numbers are being scrutinised. Vishal used to talk on all the numbers through WhatsApp. Most of the mobile numbers are switched off after he was caught.

On the other hand, the Odisha Police is keeping an eye on Vishal's close friends. On the other hand, the police team is also probing the printing press worker Virendra. Apart from Vishal, Virender used to talk to other people, it is also being ascertained. On July 23, the OSSC canceled the written examination for JE (Civil) held on July 16 following the official statement of the Balasore SP regarding the question paper leak. The commission has rescheduled the exam for 3rd September.

Odisha Police has so far arrested 17 people including mastermind Vishal in this case. The accused hailing from Bihar, West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh and Odisha are involved in this racket. Two teachers working under the Odisha government were also among the accused arrested in the question paper leak case. 

Show cause notice to 55 candidates

Odisha Staff Selection Commission has issued show cause notices to 55 JE (Civil) Main exam candidates. The notice mentions why all the candidates should not be banned from the recruitment panel. Further action will be taken after getting its reply. OSSC Chairperson Abhay gave this information.
