Breaking News: Well sank, 2 laborers died due to being buried, the bodies were removed after 11 hours in Jamtara (Mominpada Village) Jharkhand
Latest Updated 21/06/2023: Two laborers working in Mominpada village of Shehardal panchayat of Jamtara block were killed when the brick wall of an under-construction irrigation well collapsed at 8 am on Tuesday. The mason saved his life with the help of a rope. The dead bodies of both the laborers could be removed from the JCB after about 11 hours at 7 pm.
The well was being constructed under MNREGA. The deceased laborers have been identified as Abul Hasan and Dinesh Hembram. In order to remove the dead body from JCB, the dead body of Abul Hasan was divided into two parts. The villagers created a ruckus when the officers arrived late. The allegation of the villagers was that the quality has been ignored in the construction of the well. DC Faiz Ahmed Mumtaz said that DDC will investigate the death of two laborers. He will investigate and submit the report within three days.
