Transfer of teachers from one district to another by UP government from 8 June latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 04/06/2023: Giving great relief to lakhs of teachers, the UP government has opened the way for transfer from one district to another. Now after three years, teachers will be able to get posting at the desired place. The process of inter-district transfers of council teachers will start from June 8. Along with this, inter-district mutual transfers will also be done.
The state government has issued a policy in this regard, as well as the Basic Education Council has also issued instructions to all BSAs to open the portal from June 8 and complete all the preparations. Earlier in 2019-20 there were inter-district transfers. Since then the teachers were waiting for transfers. Their number is about 05 lakh 20 thousand.
Additional Chief Secretary of Basic Education Department Deepak Kumar issued an order in this regard on Saturday. Along with this, orders for inter-district mutual transfers were issued. According to this, the service period of two years for regular teacher and five years for teacher will be mandatory in the district. There will be inter-district transfers up to a maximum limit of ten percent of the number of teachers working till April 30, 2023, against the sanctioned posts in the district.
Earlier women were given weightage of 5 marks, this time it has been given 10 marks, which means this inter-caste will also remain male-free.
