Latest Updated 01/06/2023: Anti-social elements created a ruckus in the Polytechnic campus office of BBMKU. During this, two rounds of aerial firing were done.
It was told that after 12 o'clock on Tuesday night, a dozen anti-social elements pelted stones fiercely. The window glasses of various offices including the examination hall were broken.
Seeing the matter getting serious, both the security personnel present on the spot informed the security personnel and Vice Chancellor of Main Campus Bhelatand. Nine-10 security personnel including gunman from the main campus reached the polytechnic campus. Even after this, when the stone-pelting continued, the gunman fired two shots in the air. After aerial firing, the stone pelters ran towards the pond, threatening to come again. On getting the information, the patrolling party of the police also reached. The university management has been asked to inform the entire matter to the Dhanbad police station and take appropriate action.

Some bundled copies were stolen by breaking the lock of the back door of the examination hall before Tuesday night. Here, Vice Chancellor of BBMKU Prof. Shukdev Bhoi said that the information about the incident has been given to the police administration.

University officials informed the police about the matter at night. the police has started to investigate. Some youths of Pandarpala are being searched.
