Breaking News: Sensex crosses 64000 for the first time
Latest Updated 29/06/2023: Domestic stock markets once again recorded a record high on Wednesday. During the trading, for the first time the Sensex crossed the 64 thousand mark and the Nifty crossed the 19 thousand mark. However, they declined slightly later and both closed at all-time highs.
The BSE Sensex closed at its all-time high of 63,915, up 499 points. It had touched its all-time high of 64,050 during the trade. At the same time, the NSE index Nifty rose 154 points to close at a record high of 18,972. It also reached its all-time high of 19,011 points. Earlier, the Sensex had touched an all-time high of 63,588.31 on June 21 this year.
Market strengthened
According to experts, the Sensex and Nifty have gained new momentum due to the rising trend in the American and European markets and the inflow of foreign capital in the domestic markets. On the domestic front, the market has also been strengthened by the encouraging figures of inflation, GST, GDP for the March quarter.
