CSBC Bihar Police Constable Recruitment 2023: 21391 posts will be recruited @ csbc.bih.nic.in latest news update
Latest Updated 10/06/2023: There will be recruitment of constables on 21 thousand 391 vacancies in Bihar. For the 1st time, the recruitment process of policemen in such a large number has beganed in the state. The Central Selection Board (Constable Recruitment) has released an advertisement related to this. It can also be seen on the official website of the Council. The online application process will start from 20 June. The last date to apply for this is 20 July. Applicants will be selected on the basis of Written Test & Physical Efficiency Test (PET).
Admit cards for the written test will be released after scrutiny of all the applications received till the last date. The level of written examination has been kept as 10th pass or its equivalent from Bihar Board. The written test will be of total 100 marks, in which 100 questions will be asked. The exam will be of 2 hours. 1 mark will be provide for each correct answer. There will be no any negative marking. There will be a physical exam after the written exam. Merit list will be ready by combining the marks of both the exams.
Candidates securing less than 30 percent marks in the written test will be declared unsuccessful for the physical efficiency test. With this restoration process, there will be direct recruitment of male and female candidates in constable cadre of Bihar Police, District Police, Special Armed Police & other units.

● Minimum educational qualification to apply will be inter or equivalent.
● Minimum age 18 years and maximum age 25 years for general category candidates
● The minimum age limit for backward class and extremely backward class men has been kept at 18 years and maximum 27 years
● Minimum age 18, maximum 28 years for backward and extremely backward women
● 18 to 30 years of age for SC/ST male and female and transgender candidates
● Home guards of all categories will get relaxation of 5 years in the prescribed age limit.
● The age of the applicant will be calculated on the basis of date of birth as mentioned in the certificate of matriculation or its equivalent examination
● Physical standards & physical efficiency standards for Kinnar or Kothi or Hijra or Transgender (3rd Gender) applicants will be the same as for femaleapplicants
● Women's chest will not be measured in physical examination.
● The minimum weight for female candidates of all categories is 48 kgs.
Height
● Minimum 165 cm for general & backward class men
● Minimum 160 cm for extremely backward & SC-ST category men
● Minimum 155 cms for all categories of women
● It is compulsory for men to have a gap of at least 5 cms after inflating their chest.
Chest (only for men)
● 81 cm without expansion & 86 cm after expansion for unreserved or backward class & extremely backward class men
● 79 cm without expansion and 84 cm with expansion for men of SC-ST category
