High Court ban on admission in ANM and BSC Nursing Courses of Jharkhand latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 04/06/2023: The High Court has put a stay on the enrollment process started in BSC Nursing and ANM and GNM courses in the state. Justice Anand Sen's court has fixed the hearing on June 13 while directing the government to reply in the matter. Till then the admission will be banned.
In this regard, a petition has been filed by Kulchandra Kumar Singh and three others. On behalf of the applicants, the court was told that the Jharkhand State Joint Entrance Examination Board has issued an advertisement on May 17 for enrollment in the nursing courses of ANM and GNM and BSC Nursing. It has been said that only local residents of Jharkhand can apply for these courses. This provision of the government is not appropriate and is against the constitution.
All posts in any appointment and nomination cannot be reserved for local people. The court was urged to set aside the nomination condition. After the hearing, the court stayed the advertisement issued for enrollment in the courses of ANM-GNM and BSC Nursing while directing the government to file a reply.
