Coal Officers of Jharkhand will get performance related pay this month latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 03/06/2023: Coal officers will be paid PRP (Performance Related Pay) for the financial year 2021-22 in the month of June itself. Officers will get huge amount in the form of PRP. This is in addition to the salary, which is paid once a year on the basis of performance. PRP is paid to the executives of the company whose rating it has. There is a possibility of getting one and a half to two lakh to seven to eight lakh coal officials in the form of PRP.
Coal India Chairman Pramod Agarwal is retiring this month. So in June itself they want to pay the PRP to the officials. All the subsidiary companies of Coal India have been asked to finalize the MoU rating from their respective boards and send it. MoU rating was finalized from BCCL board on Friday and sent to Coal India. The rating of BCCL is very good. BCCL has got 88.93 points. Had it been 90 points, the rating would have been excellent.
The ratings of the companies will be made public after approval from the Coal India Board. Sources said that the ratings of SECL and ECL are good. Rest of the companies NCL, MCL, CCL, CMPDIL got excellent.

Apart from MoU rating, BCCL board also approved two mining plans of Baseriya and Tetulmari. If approval is not received, there was a danger of closure on both the patches in August. The board meeting was held under the chairmanship of CMD Sameeran Dutta.
The Directors of the Company, including the Company Secretary, attended the meeting of the Board of Independent Directors.
