Latest Updated 03/06/2023: The woman of Jamadoba Co-operative of Jorapokhar Police Station area has complained of cheating in Cyber Police Station Dhanbad. The woman has said that she befriended a young man on Instagram. After that he talked on the phone. The young man said, will you be a sister or a friend, the woman started chatting on WhatsApp by posing as a sister. The young man always used to call on WhatsApp. He used to describe himself as a resident of Britain.
To send foreign household goods, the woman's address, Aadhaar card, bank passbook were also sought on WhatsApp. The young man demanded 13 thousand rupees from the woman in the name of getting rid of the parcel. Then stopped picking up the phone. Defeated, the woman complained to the police.
