Latest Updated 16/06/2023: In state universities and constituent colleges, 62 per cent posts of Class III personnel are vacant. The main reason for this is that there is no appointment of class three personnel in universities for 20 years. Due to the large number of posts remaining vacant, many problems are being faced in the operation of the works. In view of this, the Education Department has sought a detailed report in this regard from the universities. However, the department has not yet received the complete details from all the universities.


Nine universities of the state have sent the list of sanctioned posts and working personnel to the education department. Reports have not come from three universities. The report sent from Magadh University is not clear. That's why a fresh report has been sought. The department has asked for the sanctioned posts with evidence and the number of personnel working against it.

Staff Selection Commission will reinstate


The recruitment of university and constituent college personnel will be done through the State Staff Selection Commission. The Education Department has sought complete details of the posts along with the roster from the universities so that the restoration process can be taken forward but till now it has not been received from all the universities. After getting the complete list, after taking approval from the cabinet, the work of sending the proposal for reinstatement to the Staff Selection Commission will start.
