DAV Public School Dhanbad won the women's cricket title latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 12/05/2023: DAV Public School has won the Inter School Under-19 Women's Cricket Tournament title by defeating DAV Koylanagar by nine wickets.
Batting first after winning the toss in the final played on Thursday at CCWO ground, DAV team was dismissed for 45 runs in 11.3 overs. Nishu Rani scored the maximum eight runs. Dev Public School's Saniya Parveen took 4 for 10, Rinki Singh took 2 for 11 and Lakshmi Purti took 3 for 4. Later, Dev Public School achieved the target of 46 runs by one wicket in 6.5 overs. Lakshmi Purti remained unbeaten after scoring 22 runs.

In the prize distribution ceremony, chief guest Dr. Neetu Sahai gave trophy to the winning team and special guest Dr. Reena Varnwal to the runner-up team. Player of the final Sania Parveen was awarded by President of Vipra Sena Neetu Tiwari.
