Latest Updated 12/05/2023: Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna (CIMP) is going to start post graduate management course in the area of innovation, entrepreneurship and enterprise development. It will start from the new session.

There will be admission for 30 seats in this course. CIMP will be the first institute in Bihar to start AICTE approved PGDM-IEV (Post Graduate Diploma in Management – Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Venture Development) programme. For admission in this course till 30 May, the candidates can visit the website 666. Presrr. . You can apply online at ll/sr/un43-srray-e5. CAT, MAT, JAT and CMAT scores will be valid for admission. With this, students of graduation degree or final year can apply. Its marks will be added. After this, the nomination will be done on the basis of interview. Presently only 25 business schools across India are approved by AICTE for this programme. Only one business school in Bihar, CIMP has got this opportunity.
In the press conference on Thursday, Director of CIMP Prof. Rana Singh said that this infrequent program will focus on enterprise development from each of the participants wherein the institute will support the students in terms of idea generation, pre-incubation, proof of concept, testing, incubation support, prototype development, testing & commercialization.

This will ensure self-employment generation of participants instead of becoming employees. During the two-year course, seven papers including innovation, entrepreneurship, skills will have to be read in the first year. Applicant must have a bachelor's degree.
Preference will be given to candidates with entrepreneurial mindset having innovative business ideas or startups. 80% of the course fee will be borne by the Industries Department, Government of Bihar and 20% of the course fee will be borne by the general and OBC category students. Bihar government will bear 90 percent of the course fee for SC, ST, women, differently-abled and special category candidates. Whereas 10% of the course fee will be borne by the students. The total course fee is Rs.6 lakh. The Industry Department will bear 80 and 90 fees on this fee.
