Separate counter opened to exchange notes in SBI Bihar latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 24/05/2023: After being out of circulation, people have started reaching bank branches to exchange Rs 2,000 notes. On Tuesday afternoon at 12.15 pm, two-three people were queuing up to exchange notes in the SBI branch located at Gur Govind Singh Path. Intermittently, many people came to the branch to exchange two thousand rupee notes. Bank officials say that a separate counter has been opened to exchange the Rs 2,000 note. At present, arrangements have been made to exchange notes at a number counter.
Many people reached here as soon as the bank opened. This went on till 4 in the evening. Apart from this, many people also reached to get information. The number of counters will also be increased as the crowd increases. Right now, there is no panic among the people. Many people are just making enquiries. The crowd may increase in the coming days.
