Latest Updated 22/05/2023: Bahujan Samaj Party Chief Mayawati has expressed concern over the alleged deactivation of reservation in government jobs in the country and the state and non-filling of backlog posts. Along with this, Mayawati has talked about the activities of the party organization in Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Jharkhand and further strengthening the mass base of the party in these states.
Mayawati has said in a statement released on Sunday that the way reservation in government jobs has been made inactive and ineffective by various governments, it is upsetting the families of SC, ST and OBC. Due to non-filling of backlog posts, their distrust of the government is increasing. In such a situation, the Bahujan Samaj Party will have to intensify its missionary efforts among these classes.
