Notification released for the restoration of 1.70 lakh posts in the BPSC state

Examination in two shifts if there are more than 6 lakh candidates


If there are more than six lakh candidates in the recruitment process, then the examination will be held in two shifts, but if there are up to six lakh candidates, the examination will be conducted in one shift. Those applicants who are employed teachers, if they appear in the examination, they will not be asked to work as invigilators. The chairman of the commission has appealed to keep distance from those who do wrong & mischief on the social media.


Latest Updated 31/05/2023: BPSC has released notification for the recruitment of one lakh 70 thousand 461 teachers. Candidates will be able to apply from 15 June to 12 July. After consultation with the Education Department, Atul Prasad which is Commission Chairman told a press conference on Tuesday that consensus has been reached on all the points of the teacher recruitment process.


The chairman of the commission said that instead of 150, only 120 questions will be asked in paper one (9th to 10th) and paper two (11th to 12th) of the main examination. In these, 80 questions will be related to the subject, while 40 questions will be from general studies. The syllabus for classes 9th to 10th & 11th to 12th will be based on NCERT. Whereas for classes 1st to 5th, questions will be asked from the SCERT Syllabus. In this also the no. of questions will be 120. There will be total 100 questions in language paper. This would be qualifying.


Those candidates with commerce subjects will be given an opportunity to select the optional subjects. There is a provision of negative marking during the exam. The date of calculation of age limit has been fixed as 1 August 2023. According to the eligibility criteria fixed by the government, those appearing candidates who are CTET, B.Tech or STET pass but their B.Ed or D.El.Ed examination could not be done due to any reason, they will also be given an opportunity to appear in the examination. Such applicants will be given an opportunity if they appear in the B.Ed examination by 31 August 2023.

Especially the applicants of the session 2021-23 who have passed the CTET but the B.Ed session is delayed, such universities will have to held the exam before the scheduled date. All types of documents will be taken from the applicants at the time of application. For this, the Commission will update the application format on the website so that candidates do not face any kind of problem while applying. Applicants have to upload all types of certificates at the time of application itself. Applicants making mistakes in this will be put in the black list.

The chairman of the commission told that the teacher appointment process will be completed in the academic year. The result will be released within 2 to 3 months of the exam. The track record of the Commission is much better than before. Some people are trying to spread confusion that there will be late in the exam. Applicants should not pay attention to these things. Simultaneously, Commission Secretary Ravi Bhushan told that women will get 50% reservation in the recruitment of classes one to five.


Computer science age relaxation of 8 years


There will be a relaxation of 8 years in the age limit for Computer Science candidates. The Education Department has issued a notification in this regard on Tuesday. Under this, computer science candidates who have passed the eligibility test of STET-2019 before the implementation of these rules will be given relaxation in the maximum age limit for the first time in the appointment after the implementation of these rules.
