Trending News: Now Aadhaar will be linked with Income, Caste and Residence Certificate in UP
Latest Updated 23/05/2023: The Revenue Council has made it mandatory to link Aadhaar to prevent fraud in the name of making income, caste and residence certificates. Revenue Council Secretary and Commissioner Manisha Trighatia has sent instructions to all DMs in this regard on Monday.

Income, caste, residence & status certificates are released at the district level. For this, the shadow copy of Aadhaar is taken, but it was not linked. People keep making it based on their needs. Normally this certificate is valid for three years. That is why linking of Aadhaar has been made mandatory to prevent this.
