Latest Updated 16/05/2023: Brig (Senior) JNS Bisht will be the new MD of Upanal. Sainik Welfare Secretary Dipendra Kumar Chowdhary issued orders for his appointment on Monday. Brigadier Bisht has been selected on the basis of best military service and corporate experience among 25 contenders for the post of MD.
On the other hand, orders were also given to relieve Additional Secretary Chandra Singh Dharmshaktu, who was performing the responsibility of MD as in-charge from 28 April 2022 last year.
