Fresh recruitment will be done on 246 posts of LT in UK Uttarakhand latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 16/05/2023: The High Court has ordered to start the recruitment process afresh for 246 posts of Assistant Teacher (LT) Arts. The division bench of Chief Justice Vipin Sanghi and Justice Ravindra Maithani has quashed the rules made by the government in 2021. In which the government abolished the compulsion of B.Ed for the recruitment of these posts after the release of the release.
While hearing the special appeal, the court held that the government cannot make rules contrary to the provisions of the NCTE. After the decision of the court, now only the candidates who have done B.Ed will appear in the assistant teacher recruitment examination of arts class.

Petitioner Pushpa and others had said that in the advertisement issued by the government for the post of LT Art class in 2020, B.Ed was made mandatory. But after the release, on 20 February 2021, the government abolished the compulsion of B.Ed.
The petitioners said that the state government's 2021 rules are contrary to the provisions of the NCTE. Accepting these arguments, the court quashed the rules of the government.
