ED interrogated Former Bihar CM Rabri Devi for five hours in land for job case latest news update 2023

Latest Updated 19/05/2023: Former Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi was questioned on Thursday at the ED (Enforcement Directorate) headquarters in New Delhi. This process of questioning started at 11 am which lasted for 5 hours 30 minutes. During the tenure of the then Railway Minister and her husband Lalu Prasad, she was asked about two dozen questions regarding the land case in lieu of the alleged job. During interrogation, he was given an hour's time for lunch at around 1.30 pm. After this, the questioning started again from around 2.30 pm.


According to the information, during this time Rabri Devi was asked what she knew about this scam. Many people have donated land in his name as well, what to say on this. How the properties owned by other family members including their daughter and son have been bought. What is the source of funds raised to buy these? In this case, information was also taken about some close relatives of Lalu family like Premchand Gupta, Arun Yadav, Bhola Yadav and others.

ED is probing all the cases like illegal transaction of money, use of large number of benami accounts, receipt of money from multiple places through shell companies and diversion of funds in this case. This case was registered by the CBI, but after the facts related to PMLA came to the fore, the ED has started investigation by registering a case on this FIR.

There was a Raid


During the last three months, the investigating agency has questioned Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav, daughter MP Misa Bharti, Chanda Yadav and Ragini Yadav in this matter. In March this year, the ED had raided the premises of Chanda Yadav, Ragini Yadav, Hema Yadav and former RJD MLA Abu Dojana.
