Chakrata Road resident Rajeev Virmani appealed in the court against Varun Grover resident Anand Vihar Kaulagarh Road regarding the case. Rajeev Virmani's advocate Virendra Singh Khurana said that an appeal was made in the court in the year 2015. On behalf of the victim, it was said that the accused gave a check to repay the loan of two and a half lakhs, which bounced.
The accused party said that he had not borrowed, the check bounce notice was not received. The aggrieved party proved that the notice was sent to the correct address. ACJM Pancham Mamta Pant, finding the accused guilty, ordered that he shall pay Rs 4 lakh to the victim.
