Central government will release a special coin of 75 rupees latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 27/05/2023: On the occasion of the inauguration of new Parliament House, the central govt will release a special coin of 75 rupees. The Finance Ministry issued a notification on Thursday and informed about this.
On one side of the coin is Lion of Ashoka Pillar and below which is written Satyamev Jayate. India is written in Devanagari on the left side of the coin and India is written in Roman on the right side. The rupee symbol is also engraved on it. On the other side of the coin is a pic of new Parliament House. Above it is written Parliament Complex in Devanagari and Parliament Complex in Roman below. 2023 year is also written in international numerals at bottom. The weight of the coin is 35 gms (grams). It is made up of 4 metals.
According to notification, diameter of this round shaped coin is 44 mm. It is made by combining four metals – silver, copper, nickel and zinc. The coin contains 50% silver, 40% copper, five per cent nickel & five per cent zinc.
