Application for admission in graduation start from tomorrow in Patliputra University Patna latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 21/05/2023: Online applications will be taken from 22 May for the first semester of graduation in four-year Choice Best Credit System (CBCS) at Patliputra University, Patna. Under this, interested candidates will be able to apply till 7 June. Vice Chancellor Prof. DSW Pro after the instructions of RK Singh. AK Nag released detailed instructions. According to the cutoff list in 3 phases, the admission process will be completed by 2 July. After this, the classes for the new session will start from 4 July.
There will be a merit cum spot round process for admission to the remaining seats after the three-stage nomination process. Its information is available on the website of the university. Pro. AK Nag said that in the academic session 2023-27, there will be enrollment for about one lakh 20 thousand seats. In this, seats are fixed in traditional subjects in the 69 colleges of Patna & Nalanda districts. Online application on the website https://admission.ppuponline.in. Following the rules of reservation roster, online cutoff will be issued in three rounds as per merit list. The enrollment process will continue on Sundays and other holidays as well.

The four year undergraduate course will be of 160 credits and the entire four year undergraduate course will be completed in eight semesters of 160 credits. There will be 20-20 credits in each semester. Teacher & student participation of at least 10 hours in a credit related subject is compulsory. There are 80 credits in major course, 32 in minor, 9 in multidisciplinary, 8 in ability enhancement, 9 in skill enhancement, 6 in value added, 4 in internship & 12 credits for research project and dissertation. Skill enhancement courses can also be complete through self, mock etc. 75% attendance is compulsory to appear in each semester's examination. Each course is of 100 marks.
Online application starts on 22nd May and last date is 07th June and publication of first merit list is 09th June. The last date for nomination from the first merit list is 17 June.
