15 thousand posts will be filled in the Education Department of UK Uttarakhand latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 07/05/2023: Education Department will recruit more than 15 thousand posts in the coming four years. This includes the posts of Ministerial Staff along with LT, Lecturer, Guest Teacher. In a review meeting at the Secretariat on Saturday, the Education Department presented a blueprint for employment generation in front of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. According to this, 8243 new recruitments will be done at the basic level by the year 2026-27. Whereas at secondary level this number is 6882.
The Chief Minister instructed the officers to make serious efforts to implement short and long term plans at the departmental level. In the ongoing dispute regarding the recruitment of basic teachers, he insisted on effective lobbying in the Supreme Court. Recruitment to about 800 posts of basic teachers is stuck due to this dispute. During the review, the education officers also presented the report of various schemes of the department in front of the Chief Minister. Education Secretary Ravinath Raman told through the presentation that Uttarakhand is performing better than the national level in many parameters in the field of education.
Dhami asked to study the drop-out trend of the students and make efforts to reduce the drop-out. The CM directed to prepare for the development of necessary infrastructure facilities for the 142 schools of the state selected under the PMShri scheme and pay special attention to the education of employment along with school. Education Secretary Ravinath Raman, DG-Education Banshidhar Tiwari, Basic Education Director Vandana Garbyal, APD-SSA Dr. Mukul Kumar Sati, MM Sati etc were present in the meeting.
Recruitment will be like this
1. In the basic year 2022-23, recruitment has been done on 2065 posts. This year in the year 2023-24, 2455 posts will be recruited. Recruitment is proposed for 2250 teachers and 3538 ministerial posts from the year 2024 to 2027. These posts are to be vacant due to retirement and promotion.
2. In the secondary year 2022-23, recruitment has been done on 1855 posts. This year in the year 2023-24, 4681 posts are to be recruited. This includes 3392 LT, Lecturer and Guest Teacher posts. While in SSA, 1280 posts will be filled for BRP-CRP and Accountant. From the year 2024 to 2027, recruitment is to be done on 2201 posts.
The work done under centrally funded schemes will be expedited. Whatever proposals are to be sent to the Centre, there should be no delay in them under any circumstances. It should be ensured that basic facilities are available in all the schools.
Also included vacant posts for a long time
The Education Department has also included more than 900 posts of BRP-CRP and 332 posts of Accountant in the proposed recruitments. This post is vacant for the last several years. The important thing is that the central government has to bear the salary expenses on these posts. Due to the laxity of the state officials, the state could not get its benefit.
