UPPSC Dental Surgeon Vacancy 2023 notification for 174 posts latest news update
Latest Updated 27/04/2023: Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission is going to start the recruitment process for 174 posts of Dental Surgeon in Medical Health and Family Welfare Department this week itself. According to Commission's Under Secretary Dharmendra Kumar Tripathi, applications will also start this week for the recruitment of one post each of Lecturer Arabic in AYUSH Department (Unani) and Mines Officer in Geology and Mining Department.
- There will be direct recruitment of 401 general surgeons.
- Direct recruitment interview for 920 posts in the middle of May
On the other hand, for the selection of 920 posts of direct recruitment in various departments of the state government, the interviews in the Commission will start in the middle of May. Interviews will be held in the middle of May for maximum 488 posts of Medical Officer Grade-2 General Physician and 401 posts of General Surgeon in Medical Education Department.

In the Department of Medical Education itself, interviews are proposed for two posts of Assistant Professor Ophthalmology, three in Pharmacology, two in Medical Gastroenterology, three in Statistics and Demography and two in Physiology. Interviews will be held for 10 posts of Lecturer Obs and Gynaecology, eight posts of Lecturer Community Medicine in State Homoeopathic Medical College and one post of Deputy Director in Bureau of Public Enterprises.
