Recruitment of members on all 3 vacant posts in BPSC latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 05/04/2023: Members have been appointed on all the three vacant posts of Bihar Public Service Commission. Retired Director of Tourism Yashspati Mishra, Retired Director of Consolidation Sarvanarayan Yadav and Retired Director of Scheduled Castes and Tribes Welfare Department Naval Kishore have been made new members.
Naval Kishore got voluntary retirement a day earlier. The General Administration Department has released its notification on Tuesday. The appointment of all three new members will be for six years from the date of assuming office or till the age limit of 62 years. After the appointment of three new members, nominations have been made on all the six posts of members in the Bihar Public Service Commission. No posts are vacant now. The process of pending examinations will now be faster. At the Foundation Day function of BPSC, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had given instructions to fill all the vacant posts within five days.

On the fourth day itself, on the instructions of the Chief Minister, appointments have been made to the vacant posts. Three posts of the commission were lying vacant for a long time. Due to this, there was a problem in completing the restoration process in time. Many big exams were pending. There was delay in the interview process also. Atul Prasad is the chairman of BPSC. Already three members Arun Bhagat, Imtiaz Karimi and Prof. Deepti Kumari.
