Latest Updated 05/04/2023: JEE Main exam will start from 6th April i.e. Thursday. The exam will be conduct in different shifts till 15 April. The exam will be held from 9 to 12 in the morning and 3 to 6 in the afternoon. Around 60 candidates from across the state will appear in the JEE Main exam. The admit card for April session exam has already been issued.


According to the guidelines issued by NTA, the candidates have to reach the examination center one hour before the commencement of the examination. Entry to the examination centers will be closed half an hour before. The seat and lab will be allotted for the first time through the bar code reader provided in the admit card. Students also have to carry their passport size photograph at the time of examination. Students will have to carry only the photo given on the admit card. Along with this, a photo identity card will also have to be kept.

Students have to reach the exam center 1 hour before


The candidates will be called for the exam at different time slots at the centres. This is also mentioned in the admit card. The rule of social distancing will be followed at the examination centers. Students will also be given a three-layer mask, which will be mandatory for the students to use while taking the exam. Outside masks will not be allowed inside the center.


Exam will be held in 30 cities of Bihar JEE Main exam will be organized in 30 cities of the state. In this Patna, Araria, Bhojpur, Arwal, Banka, Aurangabad, Kaimur (Bhabhua), Begusarai p. Examination in Champaran (Bettiah), Bhagalpur, Gaya Darbhanga, Gopalganj, Jamui, Katihar, Khagaria, Vaishali (Hajipur) Madhepura Madhubani, East Champaran (Mohitari), Munger, Muzaffarpur, Nalanda, Purnea, Samastipur, Rohtas, Sitamarhi, Siwan and Supaul Centers have been created.


Prohibition on wearing thick soled shoes


Candidates will not be allowed to bring any electronic gadget with them. Also, coming in thick-soled shoes and clothes with big buttons will not be allowed. Six sheets will be provided to the students for rough work at the examination center, which will have to be returned after the end of the examination after writing the name and roll number. At the end of the examination, the admit card and the self-declaration form will also have to be left at the place given. Disabled students will be given one hour extra for the exam. Along with this, scribe will also be given to them by NTA.
