Latest Updated 02/04/2023: Continuous efforts are being made to remove the shortage of doctors in govt hospitals of UP. Contractual, re-appointment & regular doctors are being appointed. Doctors are being provide special training.
The shortage of specialist doctors is being met. A requisition has been sent to the Public Service Commission (UPSC) for the recruitment of specialist doctors on 2382 vacancies. Doctors will be recruited shortly when the process is completed. This is to say of Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak. He said that the previous govt were not serious about the recruitment of doctors. Because of this, there was a continuous shortage of doctors in the government hospitals of Uttar Pradesh.
Dr. Brajesh Pathak is also being kept on contract
The Deputy Chief Minister said that under the National Health Mission, 1903 doctors have been recruited on contract & 344 retired doctors have been placed on redeployment. A provision has also been made to provide monthly salary up to five lakh rupees to the doctors coming on contract.
The quality of emergency services will increase
To increase the quality of emergency services, approx. 120 (One hundred Twenty) anesthesiologists are being communicate training in advance life support training at the district level. KGMU has been entrusted with the authority of providing this training.
