New nursing colleges will open in five districts of Jharkhand latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 27/04/2023: The Union Cabinet on Wednesday approved 157 new nursing colleges in the country. In this, five will open in Jharkhand's Hazaribagh, Koderma, Palamu, Dumka and Chaibasa.
Additional Chief Secretary of Health Department Arun Kumar Singh said that DPR has been prepared for Nursing Colleges in Dumka, Palamu and Hazaribagh. A place has also been marked for it. Soon the construction work of the college will be started after completing the other process.
Singh informed that the process of marking the place for opening nursing colleges in Koderma and Chaibasa would be completed soon. All the five nursing colleges to be opened in the state will be affiliated to the medical college. Dumka, Palamu and Hazaribagh already have medical colleges, while medical colleges are to be opened in Koderma and Chaibasa.
These colleges will be opened in Dumka, Palamu, Hazaribagh, Koderma and Chaibasa. All these will be affiliated to medical colleges.
Now there are two nursing colleges
At present, two nursing colleges are operating in RIMS in the state. In which one has B.Sc Nursing while the other has post basic B.Sc.
