Patna High Court: Monitoring of Teachers with fake degree in 3 months latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 25/04/2023: In the case of recruitment of teachers recruited on the basis of fake degrees, the Patna High Court has ordered the monitoring to complete the investigation in 3 months. On Monday, a division bench of Chief Justice (CJ) K Vinod Chandran & Justice Madhuresh Prasad heard the application filed through Ranjit Pandit.

The court had recently ordered the state govt to set a deadline, under which all concerned teachers were directed to submit their degrees & other documents. The next hearing on the matter was fixed for 7 August.
The court was told that in the affidavit filed by the State Govt & the Monitoring Department, it has been said that the folders of more than 75 thousand teachers have not been received. The candidates advocate Dinu Kumar told the court that a large number of teachers were recruited in the state on the basis of fake degrees.
