Latest Updated 01/04//2023: The process of direct recruitment from departmental examination of Principal in Government Inter College is going to start soon. The Directorate of Secondary Education has sent a proposal for the recruitment of 693 posts to the government. This was confirmed by the Director of Secondary Education Seema Jaunsari on Friday.
Departmental headmasters, lecturers and LT teachers will be able to participate in the process of direct recruitment. For these, eligibility conditions have been fixed in the rules in September last. The government will soon send a proposal for the recruitment process to the Public Service Commission. At present the number of Inter Colleges is 1386. Of these, about 1000 posts of Principal are vacant. To fill these posts, the government had decided last year for direct recruitment on 50 per cent posts. 2 years of continuous service for direct recruitment High School Headmaster, 5 years of satisfactory service is necessary for Headmaster promoted from the post of LT-Lecturer.
10 years of continuous service is necessary for a direct recruitment spokesperson and 10 years of service for a teacher who became a spokesperson from LT is necessary. Secretary-School Education Ravinath Raman said that the posts are being classified according to the proposal of the department and the requirement of the Public Service Commission.
