CM Nitish Kumar says UPSC prelims and BPSC PT passed 9168 candidates took advantage of incentive scheme latest news update 2023

Latest Updated 02/04/2023: Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Extremely Backward Classes who pass the preliminary examination (PT) of the Union Public Service Commission will get Rs one lakh and those who pass the preliminary examination of Bihar Public Service Commission will get Rs 50,000. An amount of Rs is given, so that they can prepare better for the further examination. So far 9168 applicants have taken advantage of this scheme.


The CM was speaking at a program conducted on the 75th anniversary of Bihar Public Service Commission. He directed the officials to take care that there should be no malpractices of any kind during the examination. Those who get the authority of examination work, they should keep in mind that the examination work should be conducted in a better & transparent manner. The CM released a souvenir related to the Commission. The program was also addressed through the Chief Secretary Aamir Subhani, Bihar Public Service Commission Chairman Atul Prasad, Commission member Imtiaz Ahmed Karimi. Commission member Deepti Kumari welcomed the Chief Minister by presenting a logo, a copy of the constitution and a green bunch. A short film based on Bihar Public Service Commission was screened in the programme. Principal Secretary to CM Deepak Kumar, Chairman Bihar State Backward Commission Justice Sanjay Kumar, Chairman Assam Public Service Commission Bharat Bhushan Chowdhary, Chairman Karnataka Public Service Commission Shankarappa S Sahukar, Member Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) VV Geetha, BPSC were present on this occasion.

Finance Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary said that many such schemes & programs were launched in Bihar under the leadership of CM Nitish Kumar, which were later adopted by other states and the central govt. The CM showed light and path to the country by his actions. Through a lion, the Finance Minister said in relation to the CM that a human being is not one who changes with the direction of the wind, a human being is one who changes the direction of the wind. I am happy that BPSC has also done many such things regarding the orgnize of examinations, which other states want to adopt.
