Approval for recruitment of 4500 posts in Education Department of Uttarakhand latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 07/04/2023: The Finance Department approved four important schemes of the Education Department including CM Scholarship Scheme, Cluster School. This has opened the way for recruitment on 4500 posts in the department. This decision was taken in a meeting chaired by Additional Chief Secretary-Finance Anand Bardhan at the Secretariat on Thursday.
Students from class six to 12 will come under the CM scholarship scheme. They will get scholarship ranging from Rs.600 to Rs.2500. Along with this, the plan to close schools with less number of students and replace them with cluster schools equipped with adequate teacher-resources was approved. 285 posts of BRP and 670 posts of CRP will be filled through outsource.

DG Education Banshidhar Tiwari said, the finance department has given permission to fill three thousand posts of class IV in government schools on outsourced basis. Education Secretary Ravinath Raman, Finance Secretary Dilip Jawalkar, Finance Secretary SN Pandey were present in the meeting.
Children will be able to get free books till 15 July
Children of class one to eight of government and aided non-government schools will get free books till July 15. The Education Department on Thursday tied up with two companies of Haldwani to print books. Additional Director-Secondary Mahavir Singh Bisht told that the companies will print the books in 75 days. According to the new system of delivering books to the students, now the companies will deliver the books to the BEO office as per the demand.
