70% posts of Protocol Officer (PO) will be filled by deputation in Bihar latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 23/04/2023: In the state of Bihar, the order of Protocol Cadre (Recruitment and Service Conditions) Rules 2023 has been issued to ensure complete arrangements for accommodation, vehicles and hospitality facilities for VIPs. This cadre will have the posts of ten Protocol Officers, four Senior Protocol Officers and one Protocol Manager.
Officers of this cadre will be posted at Patna, Delhi and Gaya airports. 70 percent posts of Protocol Officer will be filled by deputation. The remaining 30 percent posts will be filled by promotion of attendants working in the Cabinet Secretariat Department. The post of Protocol Manager will be filled by promotion or deputation from Senior Protocol Officer on the recommendation of Departmental Promotion Committee.
