44 students did not get CM's Special Scholarship in Jharkhand latest news update 2023

Education department serious, instructions given to all districts to complete the set target in 15 days

Latest Updated 28/04/2023: Students are not getting the benefit of the Chief Minister's Special Scholarship Scheme. Out of the fixed number of students of the state, 44 percent have not received the amount of the scheme. Hazaribagh district is the worst in this. Here 10,321 students are to get this scholarship, but so far only 621 have got it.


Explain that in the financial year 2022-23, 1,47,928 students from across the state were selected for the Chief Minister's Special Scholarship Scheme. Out of this, 83,396 students have been benefited so far. Still 64,532 students are deprived of the benefits of scholarship. Apart from Hazaribagh, scholarship has been distributed among less than 50 percent students in Koderma, Palamu, Simdega, Sahibganj, Latehar, Bokaro. Godda has achieved the goal in scholarship. On the other hand, the condition of Pakur is different. Here 106 percent more children were paid than the target.

Scholarship was to be distributed among 1677 students in Pakur district, but a total of 1785 students were given scholarship, much more than the target. That is, the scholarship amount has been given to 108 more students than the target. Taking this seriously, the School Education and Literacy Department has ordered an inquiry. Secretary of the department Ravi Kumar has directed all the districts to complete 100 per cent target within 15 days.
