Latest Updated 05/03/2023: Two real brothers of Imlakh Khan, the main accused in the BAMS degree forgery, have also been made accused by the police. One of them is accused of collusion and the other of posting fake degrees. In this case, the police have sealed the printing press in Muzaffarnagar. An amount of Rs 11 lakh in the bank account of the Press was also frozen.


According to CO-Nehru Colony Anil Kumar Joshi, investigation revealed that Imlakh's two real brothers, Saddam and Ashif, were also involved in the forgery. Therefore, the search has been started by making both of them accused. He said that the police team is also checking the offices and printing presses of Imlakh's close friends in Muzaffarnagar.

STF had disclosed in January


In January, STF had unearthed the case of selling fake BAMS degree, registration in Medical Council of India, Uttarakhand. The STF then arrested Dr. Pritam Singh and Manish Oli, who were practicing with fake degrees, along with Imran Khan, resident of Sherpur Muzaffarnagar, chairman of Baba Group of Colleges in Muzaffarnagar. Investigation revealed that Imran's brother Imlakh used to take full responsibility of selling and registering fake degrees. After this, Imlakh (36) resident of Sherpur Muzaffarnagar was also arrested.
