Promotion list out for Anganwadi Supervisor posts in UK Uttarakhand latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 06/03/2023: The Urban Development Department has not yet been able to submit the final report to the State Election Commission despite the expiry of the deadline for delimitation of wards in the local bodies. Because of this, the commission has not been able to even start the survey of the voter list for the body elections.
Local body elections are to be held in the state in the month of November this year, starting preparations in this direction, the State Election Commission had demanded the report of local body delimitation from the Urban Development Department in the month of December itself.
According to Additional Director Ashok Pandey, information has been received from most of the bodies that the delimitation will remain the same. The final report will be submitted to the commission soon.
Women Empowerment Child Development Department has released the final promotion list of Anganwadi Supervisor. More than 5 and a half thousand Anganwadi workers had applied for a total of 155 posts.
Objection sought within 10 days
The Women Empowerment Child Development Department had started the selection process in November 2021 through departmental promotion on the vacant posts of Supervisor. A total of more than five and a half thousand Anganwadi workers had applied for this. Initially, the number of vacant posts was 105, but the department has sought objections within 10 days by publicizing the final list of total 155 selected Anganwadi workers including the posts of supervisors to be vacated till June 30 in the current selection year.
Apart from this, five posts have been kept vacant due to the ongoing court case. To avoid controversy, the department has resolved all the objections, while disposing of the objections of the Anganwadi worker who filed the objection earlier.
