Latest Updated 06/03/2023: STF has busted a gang cheating by creating a website similar to the name of a government organization. Those who were cheating the youth in the name of registration & training. STF has arrested three accused. In the last 6 months, transactions of more than 55 lakh rupees have taken place in the account of the organization of the accused. Along with Uttarakhand, many people from all over the country have become victims of fraud.



SSP STF Ayush Aggarwal said that a complaint was received that registrations for jobs are being done on the website of Youth Sports Council of India. In this, the option of government jobs has been given in the departments of Physical Education Teacher, Indian Railways, Income Tax etc. Investigation found that Rs 700 was being collected for registration. Whereas, in lieu of training for recruitment, an amount ranging from Rs 50 thousand to Rs 2 lakh is being collected. Many youths were also given training for 60 days by renting rooms in an ashram in Haridwar. Those who contacted on the mobile number registered on the website were being extorted on the pretext of job. The accused were constantly changing their address and phone numbers.

These youths of the state complained


Prashant Rangad resident Chinyalisaur, Kailash Singh resident Pauri, Tara Singh, Bharat Singh, Papan Singh Papaula resident Bageshwar etc. complained about the fraud. The accused cheated these youths of several lakhs of rupees on the pretext of jobs. SSP STF told that the names of other accused involved in the gang will come out during the investigation.


Arrested them


STF arrested Anand Mehto r/o Urdu Bazar, Bhagalpur Bihar Hall Address Plot No. 10, Sector 22, Chaida Village Noida, Yogendra Kumar Yogesh r/o D 278 New Ashok Nagar, Vasundhara Enclave East Delhi and Sanjay Rawat r/o Jalalpur Road, Radheshyam Vihar, Phase 4, Muradnagar, Ghaziabad arrested. Among the accused, Anand Mehto is the administrator of the Indian Youth Sports Council and Yogendra is the director. Sanjay is his associate involved in the swindle.
