MBBS students returned from Ukraine get a chance to appear latest news update 2023

Latest Updated 29/03/2023: Medical students who have returned to India from Ukraine will be able to take the MBBS final exam in the country. The Supreme Court on Tuesday allowed Indian medical students who have returned from abroad due to the COVID-19 pandemic and war to clear the MBBS final examination in two attempts.

Students who have returned from Ukraine, China and Philippines without registration in any medical college will have to pass the MBBS final examination in two attempts as per the guidelines of NMC. A bench of Justice BR Gavai and Justice Vikramanath modified the Centre's suggestion to allow them only one attempt as a one-time measure and disposed of all the petitions of the medical students. The Center has submitted the report of an expert committee.
