Latest Updated 26/03/2023: The engineering entrance exam JEE Advanced 2023 exam will be held on June 4. The exam will be held in 216 cities across the country. For this, examination centers will be set up in nine cities including Patna in Bihar. The verification process of the exam center has started.


IIT Guwahati, the JEE Advanced conducting body, has started checking the examination centers in Bihar. Along with Bihar Patna, centers will be set up in Aurangabad, Arrah, Bhagalpur, Darbhanga, Gaya, Muzaffarpur, Purnia and Rohtas districts. In JEE Advanced 2022, examination centers were set up in 11 cities of the state. But this time centers will not be made in Chhapra & Nalanda. At the same time, this time Samastipur has been removed and Rohtas has been added to the list to make it a center. Examination centers will be made in 4 (four) cities of Jharkhand at Ranchi, Dhanbad, Hazaribagh and Jamshedpur. 2.50 lakh students will appear in JEE Advanced. For this, students can register from April 30 to May 4. The final answer key and result will be released on 18 June.

Application fees increased by up to 100 Rupees


JEE Advanced application form fee has been increased in 2023. General category candidates will have to pay application fee of 2900 Rupees, SC / ST and PWD 1450 Rupees, 1450 Rupees for girls. Whereas in JEE Advanced 2022, the exam fee for general category was 2800 Rupees.
