CM Nitish Kumar says Teachers will be recruited soon on a large scale in Bihar latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 27/03/2023: CM Nitish Kumar said on Sunday that teachers would be recruited on a large scale in Bihar. He said that we are continuously working in the education field. Cycle scheme & dress scheme for girls were started. 22000 school buildings were constructed. The children of scheduled caste-tribe society, who could not go to the school earlier, were sent to school. A large no. of teachers were reinstated. More restoration will be done on a large scale soon.

The Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was addressing the Ramlakhan Singh Yadav memorial function organized at Shri Krishna Memorial Hall. Said that now the no. of girls studying in the schools has become equal to that of boys. Engineering colleges were opened in all the districts of Bihar. Medical colleges are being opened. Everybody must definitely teach the girl children. Earlier the fertility rate in the state was 4.3. It has reduce to 2.9 as girls are educated. A survey revealed that if the wife is matriculation (10th) in husband & wife, then the country's fertility rate was 2 & that of Bihar was 2. If the wife is intermediate then the country's fertility rate was 1.7 while that of Bihar was 1.6. Then, we decided to educate the girls.
