Canceled recruitment exam for 1900 posts will be held again by UPSSSC latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 23/03/2023: The Subordinate Services Selection Commission is going to re-conduct the canceled examination for the posts of Village Development Officer, Gram Panchayat Officer and Supervisor. He is likely to get the green signal for this soon from the government. The exam schedule will be issued as soon as permission is granted. About 14 lakh people have applied for these posts. In the year 2018, the Subordinate Services Selection Commission had sought applications for a total of 1953 posts including 1557 posts of Gram Panchayat Officer, 362 posts of Village Development Officer and 64 posts of Supervisor.
The exam was conducted in December 2018 and its result was also released in August 2019. With the release of the exam results, there were many complaints of rigging in it. In March 2020, the state government constituted the SIT to investigate the entire matter. It was canceled after the SIT confirmed rigging. Due to the Corona period, no decision could be taken on this at that time.

About 2,707 posts of Principals of Aided Inter Colleges, which have been lying vacant for a long time, will be filled soon. The state government is going to send a requisition to the Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Selection Board this week to fill these vacant posts. After receiving the requisition, the selection-appointment exercise will start from the Board of Secondary Education. Presently, these schools without headmasters are running on the basis of officiating principals.
The post of Principal in Aided Inter Colleges of the state is of direct recruitment. Advertisement came out in 2013 whose result came out in 2022 and 580 principals were recruited. Many fingers were raised on this recruitment process and many teachers went to court against this result. The court canceled the recruitment on the basis of giving equal opportunity.
