Latest Updated 22/03/2023: The state government will appoint teachers on 7 thousand new posts. The creation of the post was approved in the state cabinet meeting held on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. These teachers will be reinstated to teach special children (Divyang). Soon the Education Department will take further action for their appointment. The cabinet approved a total of 35 proposals. The state government will give scholarship to the students belonging to backward and extremely backward classes from its own fund. For this, the education department has been made the nodal department. Regarding this, 'Chief Minister's Backward Classes and Extremely Backward Classes Pre-Matric Scholarship Scheme' will be run.
Approval of funds for 4 SC-ST schools with 720 housing capacity
Till now, the Center and the State used to give funds in the ratio of 50:50 to these children. It is known that the Center has stopped giving scholarship to the students of 9th and 10th. At the same time, the amount was not given on time even in the lower classes. That's why the state government has taken this decision. Similarly, 1600 crores have been approved for the schemes of centrally sponsored education, due to which funds have not been received from the center so far. At the same time, funds have been approved for the construction of four SC-ST schools with 720 accommodation capacity.
Approval of plans for development and beautification of Simaria
Simaria Dham will be developed. The plans of the Water Resources Department got approval. This includes construction of a ladder ghat of about 550 meters length on the banks of the Ganges, development of facilities and beautification in the entire Kalpwas area. Development of river front, site construction for Ganga Aarti, construction of bathing ghat and changing room, pavilion, watch tower, toilet complex, dharamshala and lighting system will be constructed for religious rituals. Mokshadham will also be made better. All the works will be completed in 18 months. Rs 114.97 crore will be spent on this.

35 thousand increase in salaries and allowances of ministers
The state government has increased the salary and allowances of its ministers by about 35 thousand per month. The cabinet has given its approval. After this increase, now the ministers of the state will get two lakh 65 thousand per month as salary and allowances. It may be known that in the recently held cabinet meeting, the state government had increased the salaries and allowances of MLAs, MLCs as well as Chief Whip, Deputy Chief Whip and Whip in the Legislature.
