Service of 5537 high school of Jharkhand teachers not confirmed even after 7 years latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 03/02/2023: It has been seven years since the appointment of graduate teachers in high schools of Jharkhand, but till now the service of all the teachers has not been confirmed. Out of 10,753 teachers, the services of only 5216 teachers have been confirmed, while the services of 5537 teachers have not been confirmed.
Despite instructions from the Department of School Education and Literacy, the service confirmation action could not be taken. On this, the Jharkhand State Secondary Teachers Association has appealed to the Education Department to confirm the service of all teachers. The Education Department should soon report the number of graduate teachers appointed in high schools whose services have been confirmed and how many are pending.
The districts have talked about confirmation of the service of the teachers appointed till 2019, but according to the information being received, the service of all the teachers has not been regularised. The education department has sought a report as to why the service confirmation has not been done and the reason for its pending.

Teachers appointed in 2010 were not served regularly Ravindra Prasad Singh, General Secretary of State Secondary Teachers Association, said that the service of graduate teachers appointed in 2010 and 2015 in the state has also not been confirmed. Now, after the decision of the Supreme Court, a provision has been made to give opportunity to newly appointed high school teachers of non-scheduled districts to be posted in scheduled districts. Without service confirmation, teachers will have to face a lot of trouble in district change.
