Latest Updated 05/02/2023: In the AE-JE exam question paper leak case, the accused Public Service Commission Section Officer Sanjeev Kumar, BJP leader Nitin Chauhan and Sunil Saini were produced in the court by the SIT, from where they were sent to jail. Here, the SIT is engaged in the search of Sanjay Dhariwal, former president of BJP Mangalore Rural Mandal.
On Saturday, the SIT arrested the three accused in the AE-JE exam question paper leak case. It was clear in the investigation of SIT that the second section officer Sanjeev Kumar had handed over the question paper to the suspended section officer Sanjeev Chaturvedi, who had gone to jail after taking an amount of 28 lakhs. After that Chaturvedi, with the help of polytechnic teacher Rajpal, put the question paper in the market. The SIT had arrested three accused Sanjeev Kumar, Sunil Saini and Nitin Chauhan, while BJP leader Sanjay Dhariwal, named in the case, could not be traced.
SIT is raiding places in search of Sanjay Dhariwal but he could not be caught. SSP Ajay Singh told that the investigation of SIT is going on. Action will be taken if the facts come out during the investigation.
Congress leader also on radar in AE-JE paper leak
After the Bharatiya Janata Party leaders, now the names of two-three leaders associated with the Congress have come to the fore in the investigation of the SIT in the AE-JE exam question paper leak case. However, the top police officers associated with the SIT are still refraining from speaking anything directly. Along with Patwari recruitment exam, the involvement of BJP leaders has come to the fore in the question paper leak of AE-JE exam. The involvement of Sanjay Dhariwal, former president of BJP's Mangalore Rural Mandal, has come to the fore in both the examinations. SIT has arrested another BJP leader Nitin Chauhan. Now the names of some Congress leaders from rural areas are also in discussions in the episode. The SIT is engaged in connecting the arrested accused to the candidates, but now the officers of the SIT are avoiding taking their names openly. It is being told that Congress leaders have also played the role of agents, but the SIT will take action only after getting to the bottom of this matter. Here, on being asked, SSP Ajay Singh said that nothing can be said in haste, the SIT is engaged in the investigation.
