In lieu of leaking the paper, he had paid an amount of 28 lakhs to Sanjeev Kumar. This shocking revelation has come to light in the investigation of SIT.


In the year 2017, under the supervision of the suspended section officer Sanjeev Chaturvedi, who was the main architect of the Patwari recruitment exam question paper leak case, the preparations for conducting the AE-JE examination started. The exercise was still going on regarding the examination that he was transferred to another department. Section officer Sanjeev Kumar was posted in the department which was given the responsibility of this examination. Since Sanjeev Chaturvedi had hatched the conspiracy to leak the question paper, he started putting tricks on his colleague, the Section Officer.

The question paper set of AE-JE exam was in the possession of Sanjeev Kumar, he had made it available to Sanjeev Chaturvedi by taking photographs of that question paper from his mobile phone. In lieu of leaking the question paper, he was paid an amount of 28 lakhs. According to sources, on receiving the amount of 28 lakhs, Section Officer Sanjeev Kumar gave a huge amount to his relative to hide it. Sanjeev Kumar's involvement in the SIT investigation has come to the fore only in leaking the question paper of AE-JE exam, yet the detailed investigation of the matter is still going on.

The number of 25 candidates who bought papers in AE and JE exams has come to the fore. In the preliminary investigation, the SIT got this information during the interrogation. However, the number may increase further. It has become clear in the investigation that the master mind of this question paper leak scandal is also the suspended section officer Sanjeev Chaturvedi. He had put the question paper in the market in alliance with his colleague section officer, although the challenge of finding answers to many questions still remains in front of the SIT.
