Latest Updated 18/02/2023: As soon as the news of student Mrinal's fall and death in suspicious condition from the ninth floor was received by teacher father Kaushal Kishore and family members, there was chaos in the house. Kaushal Ashok runs coaching at some distance from Mahendru Post Office at Rajpath. The house is near Sai Mandir in Chowdhary Tola. He was living alone in Patna for some days. The younger daughter prepares for engineering in Kota. Elder daughter Mrinal was studying MBBS. Mrinal's mother had gone to Lucknow on Monday to drop her off at college. She stayed with her daughter for three days.
Mrinal Singh (23), a first-year MBBS student at TS Mishra Medical College, Sarojini Nagar, jumped down from the ninth floor of the hostel on Friday morning. He died on the spot. There was a lots of blood (more blood) coming out of his head. Along with this, the bones of hands and feet were broken at many places.
Mrinal's mother used to live near the hostel with a room on rent. The mother, who reached the campus on the information of this accident, became insensible crying. He has been admitted to the local hospital. On the other hand, the police have claimed that a suicide note written by Mrinal has been found. In this, he has written about being sad for not being able to do MBBS. It is said that his father, who left from Patna, reached Lucknow late at night. Mrinal, daughter of teacher Kaushal Kishore Singh, originally a resident of Chaudhary Tola, Patna, was doing MBBS from TS Mishra Medical College. She used to live in the hostel built in the college campus. According to other girl students, Mrinal used to stay in room number 902. A student named Sakshi also lived with him.
Relatives went to Lucknow
After the news of daughter's death came, Kaushal Kishore informed the close ones about the incident. Relatives gathered at home. Everyone was shocked and upset. No one could believe what happened. Kaushal Kishore left for Lucknow by road at 11 am. He is running coaching for 22 years in Mahendru area. Close friends said that both the daughters were toppers in studies. Mrinal wanted to become a doctor from the beginning.

Sakshi told that Mrinal was in the class till 845 in the morning. After that she went to the hostel. After some time, information spread in the college that Mrinal had fallen down from the hostel. When everyone reached there, she was found near death in a bloody condition. He was taken to the emergency of the hospital where doctors declared him brought dead. Within some time the people of the college administration reached. A crowd of students started gathering there.

Many police officers including DCP, ADCP, ACP arrived. Searched Mrinal's room. Then inquired with the principal and the warden. There was a chair in the balcony. Sakshi, who lives with him, told that usually the chair is never kept here. During this, the police came to the conclusion that Mrinal kept a chair here to commit suicide, then jumped from it. ACP Krishnanagar Vinay Dwivedi told that the suicide note of the girl student has been found, waiting for her father.
