High Court made CBI a party in Uttarakhand Recruitment Scam latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 18/02/2023: The High Court has made the CBI a party to the investigation of the paper leak cases. A division bench of Chief Justice Vipin Sanghi and Justice Alok Kumar Verma also issued notice to the state government and the DGP asking them to submit their reply by 11 July. New petition in High Court demanding CBI inquiry into recruitment scams
This PIL has been filed on behalf of Doon resident Vikesh Singh Negi to get the scams investigated by the CBI. The petition states that students in the state are on the streets because of the UKSSSC paper leak. The police is lathi-charging the unemployed youth. Some students were sent to jail. The petitioner alleges that no concrete steps were taken against those who leaked the paper. That's why this matter should be investigated by CBI.
