Director of roorkee coaching center arrested in Uttarakhand AE JE Recruitment Scam latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 11/02/2023: In the AE-JE recruitment exam question paper leak scandal, the SIT arrested a coaching center operator from Roorkee. The accused, in connivance with the accused arrested in the case, had sold the question paper to some candidates for Rs 19 lakh. Coaching center operators of Dehradun and UP are also on the radar of SIT.
SSP Ajay Singh told that Roorkee's Genius Coaching Center director Vivek Kumar alias Vicky s/o Jaipal Singh, resident of village Chudiyala Bhagwanpur along with other accused had sold question papers to some candidates for Rs 19 lakh per candidate. Some amount was given by the candidates in advance, the rest were given by blank cheques.
Two lakh rupees, some blank checks and an LED have been recovered from the possession of the accused. An amount of seven lakhs, blank checks have been recovered from the possession of the accused arrested earlier. Apart from Haridwar, some coaching centers of Doon are also on the radar.
