Bihar Computer Teacher Recruitment 2023: 7360 posts will be appointed in secondary and higher secondary schools latest news update
Latest Updated 09/02/2023: There will be recruitment of 7360 computer teachers in secondary and higher secondary schools of the state. The State Government has approved the creation of posts for this. Soon the Education Department will start the process of appointment to these posts. The decision was taken in the state cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Wednesday. A total of 18 proposals were approved in the meeting.
After the meeting, Dr. S. Siddharth, Additional Principal Secretary of the Cabinet, said that these posts have been created with the aim of providing better computer education to the students in secondary and higher secondary schools of the state. One computer teacher will be recruited per school. He told that if better computer education is available to the students, they will be able to get employment-oriented educational skills as per their requirement.
34 crore approved for backward-most backward class hostels in seven districts

Hostels for backward class and extremely backward class students will be built in seven districts of the state, Sheohar, Madhubani, Vaishali, Sitamarhi, Aurangabad, Gaya and Lakhisarai. The capacity of each hostel will be 100 students. For this, approval of Rs 34 crore 92 lakh has been received. 6 crore 71 lakh has been approved for the construction of Karpoori Thakur hostel in Khagaria. The construction of this hostel will benefit 100 students belonging to extremely backward classes.

Land will be transferred for Patna Metro Rail
For the Patna Metro Rail project, land will be transferred from the concerned departments to the Urban Development Department on a fee basis as per the requirement. This decision has been taken so that the construction of Metro Rail can be smooth. Apart from this, in the financial year 2022-23, the amount received by the Commercial Tax Department under the head of profession tax will be spent on the basis of population of 75 crore state's municipal bodies. At the same time, Bihar State Sports Authority has given approval of six crores for organizing athlete competition in Patna.
